Try Pressing the deLINK Button
(Note: This button is displayed for Internet Explorer Version 5.0 or later)
You will notice that something strange happens when you press this button. All of the links on the page currently being viewed no longer function. In other words, nothing happens when any of the links on the page are clicked.
onClick makes frequently use of the procedure consisting of highlighting a character string desired to be examined with the mouse and then clicking on that highlighted character string. Although this procedure is readily understandable once you have tried it, it is nearly impossible to highlight the character string of a hyperlink with the mouse.

[The chain in the center is the deLink button]
The deLink function has been provided to solve this problem. The procedure for using this function is simple. Either press the deLink button of the browser tool bar or select deLink from the "Tool (T)" list of the browser menu bar (the above functions have been newly added to be compatible with Internet Explorer version 5.0 or later), or by selecting deLink from the context menu (the menu that appears when the right mouse button is pressed on Internet Explorer). When any of the above procedures are performed, the page is redisplayed after a short period of time. As a result, the previous links are now simply underlined.
It is also possible to perform deLink for only a specific frame of a frame page. Try selecting deLink from the pop-up menu that appears when the right mouse button is clicked anywhere inside the frame for which you want to disable the link.
When you want to restore the hyperlink, either press the browser Reload button or go to a different page and then come back again. The hyperlink function will then be restored.
